Project: To remove piles and to build a new lawn

Location: Makarewa

Timeframe: 3 days

This was a new house build. The owners were after a nice flat front lawn to be used for a multitude of purposes but also to make their section easy keep. When we started, there were many large piles of spoil left over from the house build that needed to be removed. To save time and money for the clients, we were able to use a lot of the spoil to create a large bund along their driveway. This creates a windbreak and it also softens any noises from neighbours or the road. This bund was then left to settle and for the owners to plant however they wish. We then rotary hoed the lawn area and then levelled with our levelling bar. This creates an even and flat surface for grass to grow.
